I am an elementary educator with 9 years of teaching experience. I have taught in second grade, fourth grade, and fifth grade classrooms. I earned my elementary education degree from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. I live in Denver and teach at Virginia Court Elementary School in Aurora Public Schools.
Currently, my educational interests include increasing differentiated learning, technology in the classroom, and parent and community involvement.
In my free time, I enjoy camping, swimming, golfing, walking my dog, Addy, and drawing. I am a Broncos fan and spend a lot of time watching football. I think of myself as being a creative, active person who loves new adventures.

I am an Instructional Designer that collaborates with subject matter experts (SMEs) such as instructors, authors and artists to develop their teachings into easily accessible, visually rich content, in order to achieve the learner’s highest engagement, comprehension and success. My personal interests include skiing, rock climbing, yoga, gardening, backpacking and almost anything outdoors. For this project, I acted as graphic designer, web designer, the Facebook Networked Learning Space (NLS), and copy editor/proof reader.

I help organizations organically grow independent learners and collaborative learning cultures. I’m also the cheerful contributor responsible for the Corporate page of this website.
I design and develop blended, face-to-face, and e-Learning learning solutions. Some of the clients I’ve developed learning for include Chick-fil-A, Cox Communications, The Home Depot, Coca-Cola, Georgia Pacific, EarthLink, HD Supply, and the Federal Government.
